Crowd Forecast Warning
See what's about to get crowded, before it does
Seoul's data includes not just current crowd levels but also forecasts for upcoming time slots. PeoMap uses this forecast data to flag areas that are "relaxed now but about to get crowded." Both the map popup and sidebar cards show an orange warning with the earliest time a Slightly Crowded or Crowded level is expected.
Why Use This Feature
Real-time information alone can't tell you the situation may already have changed by the time you arrive. Forecasts let you factor in conditions hours from now when planning.
Especially useful for longer trips (20+ min by subway, etc.), where conditions at arrival are likely to differ from right now.

Adjusting evening plans
Gangnam Station currently shows "Relaxed," but seeing an "18:00 Slightly Crowded" warning on the forecast card, you move your evening plans up to 5pm.
Avoiding post-event crowds
Seeing a forecast that the area near the venue will turn Crowded right when an event ends, you move your visit 30 minutes earlier or later to avoid the crowd.

Q.How many days ahead does the forecast go?
PeoMap only uses the nearest 6 time slots from Seoul's forecast data — generally a short-term forecast within a few hours on the same day.
Q.Can the forecast differ from what actually happens?
Yes. Forecasts are statistics based on past patterns, so sudden events or weather changes can make them differ from reality. Use them as reference information.
Q.Under what conditions does the warning appear?
The warning only appears for areas currently at "Relaxed" where at least one upcoming forecast slot shows "Slightly Crowded" or higher.
