120+ Seoul areas at a glance, one color at a time
PeoMap's core screen. It fetches Seoul's real-time city data every 5 minutes and shows it as colored circular markers (Relaxed · Normal · Slightly Crowded · Crowded). Markers appear over a dark base map, with radius scaling to the estimated population size. Zoom in (level 12+) to see area name labels, and dense clusters of markers automatically group into numbered clusters so the map never gets covered in markers.

A map makes it far more intuitive to see geographically where crowds are than a text list would.
Marker size scales with population, so you can feel the density through size as well as color.
Automatic clustering means markers never overlap even when viewing all of Seoul zoomed out — one tap zooms in to reveal individual area markers.

FAQ
Q.What does the circle size on the map mean?
The circle's radius is proportional to the estimated population of that area (the average of the min~max range). Larger population estimates mean a bigger circle.
Q.Markers look grouped into a circle with just a number.
That's an automatic cluster formed when several area markers are close together. The number is how many areas are grouped; tapping it zooms in and expands them into individual markers.
Q.I zoomed in/out and area names aren't showing.
Area name labels only appear above a certain zoom level. This is by design so the screen doesn't get covered in text when viewing a wide area like all of Seoul.
